The digital fabrication lab serves the School of Architecture, giving students a facility to fabricate architectural elements. The new facility houses a 3D Laser Printer, 2D Laser Cutters, a CNC Mill, and a three computer workstation. Construction included a major electrical upgrade to support the newly acquired equipment, an extensive structural retrofit of the existing structure, translucent exterior wall systems, as well as a complete interior build out. The interior walls were clad with prefinished maple plywood panels for durability and enhanced aesthetics.
