S3 Builders invests in human capital to establish a solid foundation for future growth.
Michael Radu joins the S3 Builders team as project manager.

After five years working as a project manager for a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering firm Michael Radu decided to jump the fence from engineering to construction. We are pleased to have Mike join our team for several reasons. Mike brings to S3 Builders a level of knowledge pertaining to the mechanical systems found in commercial buildings that far supersedes that of a typical construction project manager. This level of understanding is important when working in high-rise and other complex structures. We feel this acquisition of talent is just one more reason why the s3 team will continue to bring value, expertise, and best in class service to our clients.
Hiring a project manager laterally from a different discipline within our industry was a strategic move toward diversifying our talents. As the construction industry progresses through the years the old world ideology of the “master builder” is once again becoming the structure in which to deliver construction projects effectively and efficiently. Moreover, it is our focus to assemble a team of like minded individuals from different disciplines within our industry to create a true consortium of talents to better serve our clients. Having a team diversified in multiple disciplines is one of the reasons why S3 Builders is so unique.
Mike proves to fit well with our culture of being a firm resolute in values, dynamic in capacity, and committed to growing an upper echelon firm through acting in the best interest of our clients. Mike holds a bachelors of science in engineering from California State University Sacramento, a construction project manager certification from California State University Dominguez Hills, and is currently working on his “professional engineer” credentials.
